Additional August footage from the Gramma Cam...

Sometimes we forget our camera, so we borrow Gramma Leelee's. And other times Leelee takes pictures while Matt and I are out and about.

These pictures are actually from JULY when Daddy and Boppa Dave (or as Mattaya says, "Dave, v, v, v") brought home some cotton candy from Northern Neighbor's Day...

It was purple...

Mattaya was a little unsure of trying it.

"Ew, ew, ew! Who put fuzz in my mouth?!"

"Gross! I do NOT like this!"

"But I'll happily feed it to Mommy."

We actually had a week of fallish weather in August. :( Two good things though: (1) we found out this outfit from Auntie Net not only fits but has room to grow, and (2) lawn chairs were on clearance at Menards (Boppa and Leelee found some just Mattaya's size).

"Cheese"
(Yes, she has a frontal lisp. Yes, it drives me crazy. No, I don't try to fix it. Yes, she could very well grow out of it on her own.)

"Boppa, come sit with me!"
The chairs came packaged in pairs...what's an only child to do?

Mattaya got to experience an ice cream bar at Gramma Julie's house. Usually she doesn't like cold things, but she was ALL ABOUT this chocolate-covered yummy goodness. :)

"Hm, this is really pretty good!"

"It's really, really, REALLY good! I LOVE ICE CREAM BARS!"

At the end of August, Boppa Dave's whole family got together for a BBQ. When we arrived, Mattaya was ready for a Monster Cookie, and Gramma Julie was working in the kitchen. Being her mother's child, Mattaya decided to multi-task: eat snack and be a "how-poh" (helper). She pressed the big button repeatedly to spin the lettuce dry.

Great-Gramma Mabel and Uncle Luke.

Karisa & Matt

Mabel had a very exciting day. Not only did Luke take her on the ride of her life, but she learned to play Ladder Golf and scored big! ;)

With Luke, it's hard to know if you're better off driving or riding. If you drive, he'll be posing and doing acrobatics behind you. If you ride, you put your life in his crazy hands.

Grampa Dave really likes to explain his theories on how things should be done and why.

Watching Daddy and Luke play frisbee.

Modeling a dress from Grampa Gary and Gramma Pam before church one Sunday.
